My name is Kierstin and I am a supervisor at SHASCOM. I started my career 6 years ago by doing a sit along to learn more about what ended up being the perfect career match for me. I love the opportunities that this job has allowed me to experience. I enjoy getting to participate in trainings with field units and hosting events to bring knowledge to the community about the 911 dispatch center. Knowing that I come to work everyday and provide service to the citizens of Shasta County and the field units we serve as well as being able to guide and support people through their emergencies is an extremely fulfilling experience for me. When I’m not working in the center I spend time with my daughter and exploring our nearby lakes and trails.
