Hello, my name is Cody. I have worked at SHASCOM since 2016. Something that really piqued my interest about this career was the ability to help people every day, whether that is giving CPR instructions, getting officers to a person in distress, or simply helping google something, we are here to help 24/7, 365 days a year.
I cannot be more grateful for how this job helped shape me as an adult. I started when I was 18 years old and from then on I have had very serious responsibilities at my fingertips daily. I am so grateful to have learned from some of the best/seasoned coworkers that have truly become my family. One of my favorite things about working here is that no day is ever truly boring and there is always something going on that keeps me busy!
I know this job isn't for everyone but it truly is so fulfilling, knowing when you leave the building that you did your very best in all the tasks that came at you that day. This job can also be incredibly taxing at times and I believe in the importance of having hobbies that feed your soul outside of work! Mine include riding my horse, hunting with my partner and going to the lake with my family corgis and german shepherd! I am very blessed to have a very strong family that stands behind me and supports me!
